Although you’ll have to watch some ads in order to see them for free, it might be worth it for anyone who wants to revisit these turtley awesome flicks. As part of their new “ Movies On Us” program, Vudu has provided free access to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993). Whether you agree with this sentiment or not, fans who haven’t seen the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies in a while will be glad to hear that they are currently free to watch on Vudu. The second and third films weren’t as well received, but many fans still consider them quite entertaining. In particular, the first film is always held up as an example of a movie which perfectly combined elements of both the original animated series and the much darker comic books. Even today, these movies have a certain charm that simply doesn’t exist in modern interpretations of the franchise. Whenever I ask fans about their favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, they almost always mention at least one of the first three films.
